Pre-holiday treat at Burger Fuel

I was in the middle of choosing clothes at Burjuman when my phone rang. Dang! I really love the blouse but I don't have time to fit it so I left. I rushed and met my man at World Trade Center for dinner. 

I told him he's like an omen where everytime I have the urge to commit impulse buying tadaa he's there. 

Well it's worth leaving the thing - I spent time with him and what's the best bit is I was able to taste Burger Fuel again! 

This is one of my favourite burger joint :) 

The Rolling Stones are here!

They arrived yesterday with their private jet and according to some it's the reason why ticket is so damn expensive! Well, I don't mind - I had mine as a gift haha Can't wait this Friday! So excited to soon witness the performance of the legendary band of Rock N Roll!

Summery and dreamy photo

I love this photo which I found on Pinterest. They refer it as "Summery" or "Dreamy" look photos. 

I really love looking at it. You can see the texture that has grain on it really distinguishes itself from the modern processing of photos nowadays.

I have been a fan of vintage stuff ever since I laid my hand on a computer. From photos, cameras, decor and dresses. Made me think that my past life probably occurred on Victorian age.

Well If my wedding day comes I will definitely create a vintage design as my theme.

Getting ill is prohibited

I've never been so ill since I came in Dubai. Today I work at home cos I was still feeling groggy when I woke up. Most of the people I knew were sick too. I supposed this is the time of the year where the change of weather is affecting everyone. 

Slowly by the end of the day I felt so much better. Frequent drinking of water really helps. I had fresh juice also. 

It's quite late now and I'm being a bad girl for not resting enough.

Engagement Party | Ramada Hotel

It was raining with an angry thunder when we arrived home late last night from the party. But none of it bothered me because I really had a great time.

It was my first time to attend an engagement party. It was quite similar like in the movies, giving wishes to soon-to-be bride and groom.

I remembered few months ago, we had this conversation with my cousin where she's insisting me in getting married (in a joke kind of way) and now she's looking gorgeous than ever wearing her lovely ring on her right hand.

I couldn't be more happier knowing that pretty soon she'll be forever united with the man in her dreams.

Apart from the celebration I am grateful to attend the party and was able to see my Marina girlfriends again! It's been ages since we last seen each other.

The venue was in Ramada Hotel in Al Mina road near Satwa. The food is good but not great cos they made me a stir-fry noodles with killer spicy sauce. They should have asked in the first place. I like spicy food but the level they gave is just beyond what I can take so that made me an unsatisfied customer.

Anyway we made our goodbyes and kisses.

Lau, Jai and I are going to this Yoga session this coming Saturday so stay tuned if I'll be in the mood to post an update. Looking forward to it! x

New Job For Career Growth

I have been anxious and nervous for the last week. I am supposed to do a presentation about the services that our company is offering. This idea made my tummy sore. With all the late nights and keen research I didn't expect their reactions are so great.  I was so overwhelmed with the feedback of my bosses and the business partners who came.

I guess this is the firsts of the many great opportunities. According to my boss: "All of us are nervous when presenting in front because if you're not then it's time to stop doing it".
